HOW TO MEASURE THE SIZE OF YOUR FINGER

Here are two suggestions for measuring your finger:

Measure your finger with a string

  1. Use a string or non-elastic thread to find out your finger size. Wrap the thread around your finger, just below the knuckle.
  2. Locate the place where the wire crosses.
  3. Then measure using a millimeter ruler. It is important to be very precise, because a few millimeters can be misleading.

Refer to the table below to associate your result with the size that suits you.

How to take care of your jewelry

JEWELRY CARE GUIDE

My jewelry is made with very good quality metals and is designed to last over time.I mainly work with 925 silver, a very malleable noble metal, with which I can play with contrasts to bring out textures.

What is 925 silver?

925 silver means that its alloy is composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, which allows it to be harder and more resistant.Of course, this is why silver jewelry can oxidize if left in a more humid place.

Several other factors can damage the jewelry, such as creams, certain soaps and cleaning products, chlorine, perfumes, etc.

This little guide will allow you to take care of your silver piece and keep your jewelry for longer and maintain its shine.

When is it recommended to remove jewelry?

First of all, it would be ideal to remove your jewelry when it may come into contact with more aggressive products that could create a chemical reaction such as when you are cleaning, gardening, or if the urge takes you to relax in a jacuzzi.Additionally, avoid using creams and perfume before wearing your jewelry.

However, you can wear your silver jewelry when your jewelry is in contact with clear water. Ex.: the shower, the sea, the lake.

To prevent oxidation, it is important to keep the jewelry in a dry place and away from light.

A small airtight bag or the small box you received your jewelry in is the ideal place.

A jewelry chest can also do the trick very well.

It is important not to leave your jewelry in the bathroom, as it is very humid, and your jewelry will definitely oxidize.

CLEANING ACCORDING TO THE MATERIAL OF THE JEWELRY

925 silver coins

  1. Polishing cloth: this can be found in all jewelry stores. You will only have to rub the jewel with the small polishing cloth to make your jewel shine.
  2. Mild soap: you can clean your jewelry with mild soap, a small cloth or a toothbrush and rub gently. Rinse with plenty of water and that's it.
  3. Lemon juice: you can soak a soft cloth or take a fine-bristled toothbrush and gently rub the jewelry with lemon juice and the oxidation will definitely go away.
  4. Baking soda: another great way to remove oxidation is to take a saucepan, line the bottom with aluminum foil, put 2 cups of water and a spoonful of baking soda.Boil the water and soak your jewelry in boiling water until your jewelry shines again.

If you are still not satisfied with the result, you can make an appointment, and I will be happy to refurbish your part.

Gold-plated coins

Plating is a thin layer of gold applied to the surface of silver, so it is fragile and requires more care when it comes to cleaning.

I highly recommend the polishing cloth for plated jewelry or mild soap.
